The Challenge

How do you modernise an established organisation without losing the meaning and recognition it has already built?

The former identity

01
Where it started

Transplant Sport Northern Ireland already had an established identity and an important role within the transplant community.

The challenge wasn't to change what the organisation stood for. It was to create a brand that better represented it today — and gave it a stronger, more flexible identity for the future.

02
Finding the idea

Rather than completely abandoning the existing identity, we looked for something within it worth carrying forward.

The new symbol takes one of the figures from the original mark and gives it a new, more prominent role. This creates a clear connection between the old and the new, retaining a sense of familiarity while allowing the identity to become simpler and more contemporary.

Placed within a circle, the figure also begins to suggest a ball and a person in motion — introducing a stronger visual connection to sport without relying on a literal sporting symbol.

The result is a simpler, more versatile mark that respects where Transplant Sport Northern Ireland has come from, while giving the organisation an identity designed for where it is going.

03
The evolution

THEN → NOW

A more modern, confident and versatile identity that builds on the organisation’s existing equity, while creating a stronger, more distinctive presence for the future.

Now

04
The identity

A clean, confident visual identity designed to work across every touchpoint — from sportswear and event signage to digital and social media, including a badge version for use on team kits and apparel.

05
Bringing the brand online

The new identity was carried through to a completely redesigned website, creating a clearer and more engaging home for Transplant Sport Northern Ireland.

The site brings together information about the organisation, events, sport and the transplant community within one simple, accessible experience. The new visual identity gives everything a much stronger sense of consistency, while photography puts the athletes and their stories at the heart of the site.

“Stylografik made the process of rebranding and designing a new website for TSNI effortless. They understood what we needed quickly, kept everything moving and delivered work we were genuinely excited about.”
