Back To The Past: Udderly Cool
In a totally clichéd new year fashion I decided to sort out my desktop, move my files and artwork onto *another* external hard-drive and also clear out my Dropbox folders. That's 2016 off with a bang! However; it wasn't totally pointless as I came across loads of work I created years ago, work that I hadn't looked it in a long time. So, I thought it would be cool to post some of it over the coming months – starting with Udderly Cool.
For those of you that don't know, Udderly Cool are an utterly cool shake bar on Belfast's Stranmillis Road. They literally can turn any chocolate bar into a milkshake! A really nice café area is attached too. (My son thinks this place is heaven.) Ruth, the owner, asked me to create a new logo when she renamed the shop at the start of 2014. I re-drew the cow image, added my own spin to it and created the new logo type. Along with that I also worked on signage, vinyl graphics and a menu to be used for advertising purposes.
