The Errigle Inn at 85

Social media campaign graphics for the Errigle’s 85th anniversary

Hard to believe the Ormeau Road has been lucky enough to have the Errigle Inn for 85 years – a legendary South Belfast icon.

In 1994/95 I could be found collecting glasses and emptying ash trays in the Errigle – in the olden days before the smoking ban. My first job, £1.64 per hour delivered weekly in a little brown envelope. Amazing.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of working within the Errigle in a variety of ways, including running live music events, DJ nights and drinking plenty of pints!

Over the last few years I have rebranded the bar, created new graphic design for their advertising, designed signage and most recently I designed a bespoke website solution for the bar.

Like all bars, they have had a hard 14 months since Covid struck, but with the dedicated customer base they have, I am sure they will be around for at least another 85 years.

This artwork was created to advertise their 85th anniversary on their social media channels.
